This was a piece of heaven, a bit of heaven on earth - or perhaps he’d just settle for heavenly. Simple, yet so intense. He decided that the word described the attention he was getting fairly well.
The day had clearly drained him of energy and his husband had taken note of it despite his attempts to conceal it. Of course Laxus would look right through him, what else had he expected? Familiar stubbornness on either side had elongated the process of getting where they were now and he could feel his muscles relax with every well-made movement of Laxus’ hands against his back.
A silent smile had long formed on Freed’s lips as he was positioned on their large bed, lying on his stomach with the lightning dragon slayer straddling him in a comfortable posture. It wasn’t exactly concealed from his husband’s view but his head had cozily sunk into his pillow, mixed with stray strands of his bangs covering parts of his face. The comforting feeling of calloused, strong hands he knew so well lulled him into a state of utter relaxation and he couldn’t help the prolonged exhale that escaped through his nose after Laxus had slipped his palms beneath the fabric of his shirt, continuing to knead away any possible knots in his back muscles.
Gods, he could possibly fall asleep right then and there but then he’d miss the rest of this wonderful sensation and the conclusion to a relaxing evening with his love. They had conversed briefly, exchanging bits and details of their day, chuckling and grumbling at the pieces they had to tell each other. Now it had been quiet since a couple of minutes, apart from the occasional, small sounds of appreciation he willingly gave. This was too good.
“Hmm… To think that I almost denied myself this wonderful treatment by being obstinate…,” he muttered, tad bit of amusement swinging in his calm voice, smile still perfectly in place and eyes closed. When there wasn’t a single response from Laxus he almost felt tempted to open his eyes and turn his head to throw his man a glance - but that consideration flew right back out of the window the moment he felt Laxus shift above him, and the next heartbeat he found himself tensing before a pleasant, tingling sensation claimed him.
It remained silent, Laxus still didn’t say a word; he was too occupied planting slow and sensual kisses all over his neck. Freed felt strands of long hair being moved out of the way and the one or other slow breath became heavier with the sudden stimulation. His neck was sensitive and his husband had started to take a liking to taking advantage of it very soon in the course of their relationship. He knew what this could do to him, especially when being attacked with such sneaky, lingering, passionate kisses. Open-mouthed and tickling every single nerve.
One of his breaths came out a little more audible than he’d like for it to, almost sounding like a strangled moan, but Laxus continued his journey, apparently making it his task to cover every single spot of skin he could find there. Freed’s heart had begun to bump even harder in his chest at the sensuous affection though that wasn’t a fact he found himself able to pay attention to right then. How could he anyway, with Laxus doing what he was doing? “Baby…-” God.
