for Freed’s magic back then but I p much headcanon it that Freed’s Dark Écriture
is solely able to apply/realize negative emotions/aspects. See pain, suffering, fear, destruction, death etc..
It’s magic that is meant to do harm, bring anguish and doom. To damage/kill mentally/emotionally and physically. It obviously can be used to create advantages for himself, the one to cause
this harm, and enhance his abilities but once it comes to applying it
onto other people in order to mess with their sensations and thoughts,
then there’s only immense pain and misery. Once it’s cast on somebody it’s hard to escape the incoming anguish, and we’ve seen how quickly it can happen with Elfman. He cannot cast a ticklish
spell on his friends, can’t let a wave of happiness wash over them,
can’t give them a light shot of luck, nor can he cause ‘pleasure’ with the
use of his magic (since I’ve seen this idea the one or other time lmao-) .
It would be a light limitation to
his magic’s OP-ness, one that makes absolute sense to me. Dark Écriture
is surely not called Dark Écriture for no reason.
// Also uh idk if I need to state this but lmao I’ve seen this kind of headcanon going around more than once and I just wanna say that (my) Freed’s lightning bolt shaped strands of hair are… just hair. Like really.
They are nothing that can mysteriously transform into something else. They are not sensitive. He doesn’t get aroused when they get touched. They ar enot stimulat i n G.
I’m probably not going to want to RP with you (especially not shippy stuff) if you actually hate/rag on my character to me/on the dash. You don’t have to love them like I love them. But you need to respect that I love them.
Indeed, the dragon slayer grumbled every now and then, but as soon as the other took his hand and went outside the guild with him, he calmed a little and looked up aswell, before all of his attention switched back to the rune mage. He looked so happy and… Beautiful in this night. And yet, he also realized that this night, he could sleep next to him again. With Freed in his arms.
Immediately, a smile was seen on the blond’s face again while he followed his man silently. Somehow, he asked himself how he could deserve someone like Freed…. And the slight fear of losing him crawled back, that the rune mage suddenly could have enough of him or whatever reason…. Came into his mind. But right now, there was no time to think about such things, so he pushed these thoughts away and concentrated on the man next to him again.
“…. Y’know that you look beautiful today…?”
Freed loved the night and each facet it brought with it every time anew. Dark mysteriousness, the almost unsettling silence if you visited the right places. Everything looked more peaceful, yet frightening. It was a fascination, and the star-spattered sky was just one of many mesmerizing aspects.
The quiet that was now hanging around the two of them didn’t bother the rune magician in the slightest. He was perfectly happy with just holding Laxus’ hand and knowing that he was here beside himthat he would stay by his side for the next hours, till the next morning and even longer. By this time he didn’t even realize the wide smile on his face. It was just there, and it would remain where it was in the happiness he felt right now.
Greenish blue eyes flickered under the street lights until they entered the more secluded part of the town that would soon lead them to the forest their house was located near to. Then suddenly, upon hearing this unexpected comment, Freed felt his cheeks heating up just a little.
“…don’t I always look good?”
He attempted to tease, using it as cover for the fact that statements like this one still managed to catch him off guard pretty well. That’s why he could impossible leave it at this teasing response.
“…thank you.”
He smiled as he turned his head, continuing to walk and whisper.
“I’m really glad that you didn’t suffer severe injuries, Laxus.”

I also dislike it when the roleplay blog is cluttered with posts that aren’t connected with the actual blog’s theme/character and handled more as a personal blog than a roleplay blog. It may also be that I’m not familiar with the series your character is from at all. I’m open for crossovers, though tend to just accept them when I know at least a little bit of the series!

12. I am very picky with OC’s (I need to know who I rp with so they have to have a proper development and enough information) and usually don’t roleplay with multimuse blogs. So please feel not personally offended if I don’t roleplay with you! For example, I don’t follow dragonslayer OCs.
13. No godmodding. Please.
14. I’m more of a spontaneous roleplayer but what I need to plot out is anything battle related because I don’t want to godmod by accident or get to an outcome one of us does not like. Freed is a powerful mage and his magics can be a lil OP not least because of how many possibilities he has and some of the spells he possesses - so that’s another point that has me worried a little and why I wanna plot out fighting scenes between our muses.

I hardly do the ‘exclusive’ thing. Freed has already formed too many bonds he cherishes so choosing just one muse for each chara is something almost impossible by now. But of course there are a few exceptions.
